The community of New Life Praise Centre is lively, cosmopolitan, familial, and energetic. We are a Bible-believing church that worships the true and living God. We believe that God still has a lot to teach us since knowing God is a continuous process and we have a lot to learn. Attendees of our fellowship are in good spirits right now, and there's a genuine feeling of excitement for what lies ahead.
In 2005, the New Life Praise Center was established. The church can be found in the Mount Kenya neighborhood at Githurai 45, close to the railway station as you head towards Kasarani Mwiki. By God's grace, Bishop Wycliffe Otieno, his spouse, and their two kids started the church. It has been an extremely challenging and exciting journey. Through divine intervention, the church has successfully developed numerous leaders and established 15 new churches throughout the nation.
Our vision is to prepare the saints for the wedding of the Lamb. Our mission is to win souls through preaching the good news of our Lord Jesus Christ, build souls in the word of God, nurture souls in the things of God, equip souls for the work of God, and send souls out for the mission of God.
Our Leadership Team is a board usually comprised of the Senior Pastor, associate Pastors, and deacons, at present six. The Leadership Team are the trustees of the church, and are formally "responsible for the pastoral care of the members, the oversight and direction of ministry, worship, teaching, membership, fellowship, evangelism, finance, premises, all organizations and matters of policy, program and leadership".
We have been working together with the worldwide body of Christ in order to carry out our vision and missions. Every year, we have arranged both domestic and foreign conferences in addition to engaging in evangelism. The Manifast Glory Conference, which we have been hosting yearly since 2005, and the Flecam Network Conference are two of our success stories. Ministers and delegates from the United States, France, Canada, India, South Africa, Malawi, Zambia, Ghana, Togo, Nigeria, Rwanda, Burundi, Tanzania, Uganda, Congo, Angola, South Sudan, and every region of Kenya have been among the countries from which we have hosted over the years.
Additionally, we have collaborated with a number of humanitarian organizations to enhance the lives of numerous impoverished individuals and Kenyan orphanages. This includes, among other organizations, Empowering Believers Apostolic Network, Springs of Living Water Ministries, Bahari Sisters, and Kenya with Love.
The biggest need, in our opinion, is for our church members to establish connections with the neighborhood so that successful evangelism can lead newcomers to Christ. This will entail developing one's own discipleship as well as encouraging it through small group activities. We must draw in more families from the surrounding area.
